Financial Analysis Training That Actually Works

We've spent years refining how people learn to analyse financial data. Our approach combines real-world datasets with practical software training. Most participants start seeing measurable improvements in their analysis work within three months of starting.

Built Around How People Actually Learn Analysis

Look, most financial training programmes throw theory at you and hope something sticks. We tried that back in 2021 and the dropout rate was awful. So we rebuilt everything from scratch.

Now? Each session works with live datasets from Australian markets. You're not just watching demonstrations. You're working through the same analysis challenges that come up in actual financial roles.

  • Hands-on work with real ASX data and company financials
  • Small cohorts of 8-12 participants for focused attention
  • Weekly analysis assignments reviewed within 48 hours
  • Access to professional-grade software environments
  • Direct feedback from analysts with 10+ years experience

What You'll Actually Cover Over Six Months

Starting September 2025, our structured programme runs for 24 weeks. Each module builds on previous work, and you can expect to spend roughly 12-15 hours weekly on coursework and assignments.

Module 01

Financial Statement Analysis

Breaking down balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow documents. You'll work through examples from Australian listed companies and learn to spot inconsistencies that matter.

Module 02

Ratio Analysis & Benchmarking

Moving beyond basic calculations into comparative analysis. We focus on industry-specific ratios and what they reveal about operational performance across different sectors.

Module 03

Excel & Power Query Fundamentals

Most analysis still happens in spreadsheets. This module covers advanced formulas, data transformation, and building automated reporting systems that save hours of manual work.

Module 04

Data Visualization Techniques

Creating charts and dashboards that communicate findings clearly. Bad visualization buries insights, and we'll show you what actually works in professional settings.

Module 05

Forecasting & Scenario Planning

Building financial models that handle different business scenarios. You'll learn techniques for revenue projection and sensitivity analysis that account for uncertainty.

Module 06

Portfolio Project & Presentation

Your final project involves complete analysis of an Australian company, including recommendations. You'll present findings to the group and receive detailed feedback.

Outcomes We've Tracked From Recent Cohorts

What Recent Participants Said

Honest feedback from people who completed the programme in 2024

The assignments were tougher than I expected, but that's what made it useful. Working with actual company data instead of simplified examples meant I could apply things immediately at work. Took me about four months to finish everything while working full-time.

Completed March 2024

I'd been doing basic spreadsheet work for years but never really understood the analysis side. The ratio benchmarking module changed how I look at financial statements completely. Still reference my notes from that section regularly when evaluating company performance.
